【Share】He was surely sleeping!

At noon, I came back to my apartment to cook for myself. At the midcooking, I looked down out of the window, saw a old man was heading down on a stone desk, stayed still, made a shape of sleeping. It was about 30 minutes since I came home. I was confused, because after several days' raining, it was chilling outside, especially to the stone, we even worn heavy clothes to keep warm. On the other hand, I know that old man who is hard to walk.I looked at him intensively from the third floor, and wanted to find out whether he was breathing with some motions of his back up and down, while I failed. I was so upset that i was preparing to step down to find the truth. Fortunately, after a while, he slowly headed up. It turned out that he was sleeping. Thank God. It must be hard for the old! |

If I were you, I would run downstairs taking a small blanket, and put it on the old person who was sleeping on the stone table outside. What I did to help other people is really limited, but I always do as much as I could each time I meet some one who was needing a kind of help. If you saw again this old person to sleep outside on a cold day, you could talk with him and get some information about his difficulties. After that, you could manage to contact the local neighbourhood committee and ask them to provide some help for the old person. You are a good observer, and symthetic towards the people who are in trouble due to illness and homelessness. Our socity just needs a great number of people like you. |
