【讨论】单位资助的出国进修申请求助 已有4人参与

在我读博士的时候，有国家公派的联合培养。曾经申请过美国的一个研究所，当时对方已经同意接受我去进行博士课题训练，后来由于经费的原因，我没有去成。于是就直接博士毕业，并来到了现在的单位工作，至今已经工作一年余了。 目前，我在单位获得了出国进修的机会。我申请了1年的时间。 单位可能会给一定的生活资助，另外我自己还有一点点科研经费，大概5万元左右。 由于我的研究经历都是非常基础的，目前有IF2.6，IF4.5的article各一篇（都是博士的时候做的东西），所做的这些东西相对比较冷门，而且也可能是我一个临床医生今后不再有时间和精力脱下临床去做的那些全基础的东西。现在准备开始申请。一方面是考虑申请基础的研究，做我这方面基础研究全球还真不太多，自己也清楚在这方面在时间和精力投入比较多，可能对我的临床帮助不太大。还有就是想联系美国的临床科室，但是不知道这样能不能成功。 上周再次写信给了我以前申请的，最想去的那个研究所，没有回音，今天又写信再去问了一下，在等待回音，也就在1分钟前，研究所的Director给我回信了。 Thank you for your note. Good to hear from you. I am sending your email to XXX so he can guide you on how to proceed so we can have you working with our team. 我还要考虑一些经费上的问题，听我们主任讲，医院有一笔生活资助，但是这可能还不够，在我的申请过程中，怎么提这个要求，向老外要点点钱啊？ [ Last edited by greentrees on 2010-10-1 at 12:42 ] |

补充最新的消息，老外接受了我的申请，但是要求我做2年，而且不负担我的生活费以及保险费。 下面是老外给我的信件 Dear Dr. Yang: Thank you for your recent letter of application for a research fellowship at the ***. After a careful review, the Personnel Committee has accepted your application for a research fellowship for two years. You will have the status of research fellow at the ***. Although you will be responsible for your travel, visa, healthcare, and living expenses, all materials and resources necessary for you to participate in the various research projects will be covered by the Institute. Please make sure that you have sufficient financial funds for your travel, visa, healthcare and living expenses before accepting this position. Please let me know at your earliest convenience whether you accept the position and the dates of your planned arrival by completing and returning the attached forms. If you have any questions, you can contact our office at *** As a Research Fellow at the ***, you will also be eligible to participate in clinically related activities, such as conferences and clinical observation, as time permits. 针对老外的信，我回了一封信，主要是说我只能待1年，而且说了自己费用不够，想他也资助一点点。 大家看看我的信件，这样写合适吗？ Dear Dr. ***, I am very grateful to have received your letter about my acceptance in your institute, but I am terribly sorry that the hospital I am working in only permits one year research stay. I wonder if it is still possible for me to stay for only one year. I am sorry, but I have another problem that my hospital could only provide me with very limited fund that I can hardly live my life in your institute. I wonder if you could provide extra financial support for my stay. Your help will be greatly appreciated. I have read several of your articles on stem cell, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, and I am very interested in your research. 结果老外给我回信了，还是不同意资助我，大伙们，小弟还有办法吗？ 小弟是临床医生，医学博士毕业，我申请的这个地方时我一直想去的，也是跟我的专业和我的研究兴趣贴合最接近的，还没有别的地方比这个地方更适合小弟了，不去吧，可惜；去吧，经济压力太大。小弟未婚，出去了，收入剧减，房贷怎么办啊。 下面是老外的秘书给我的信件。 **, Thank you for your note.
