如题： Dear XX, Thank you for your message and continuous interest in my group. I have received all three reference letters in support of your applications. If I remembered right you said before that you won’t be available until October. I would like to know if you have any deadline for your postdoc application in USA. I am particularly interested in your research background in XXX, however, it is likely that I might not be able to give you a sure answer until September since I am waiting for a few new funding – while I don’t foresee a problem of my funding I don’t feel comfortable to make any commitment without 100% sure of coming funding. cheers, -XXX |
