I don't think that, every town have it own story.Even if we all do not know it. Such as my hometone , I do love it. Longjie(龙结). long means river .jie means surround.It is a place that was surrounded by a river.

my hometown，chongqing，which has developed a lot in the past ten years. Most of our chinese people like hot pot a lot, yeah, it come from chongqing. however, what I like best is the mist in my hometown.whenever it is misty, I will feel quite comfortable and easy.

Weifang,a place I take into heart
   In 1988 ,I was born in a county of Weifang.From then on,I remember the name.Weifang is located in the central part of Shandong province,and palys an important role in transportation. In economy,as a fast-developing city,it contributes a lot to Shandong's GDP.There are so many famous companies in Weifang,such as WEICHAI POWER,SINOER and FOTON.Every year,these enterprises get large benefits from their own operations and managements.Not only do they provide many work opportunities,but also pull the regional development. The most important point is that Weifang has a long history and various culture,and this means a lot in Shandong,which is deeply influenced by Confucianism.Many celebrities were born or lived in the place,such as Gong Yechang,Zhu Geliang,Jia Sixie,Zhang Zeduan and Zheng Banqiao. The stories about them are passed along from generation to generation.The Yangjiabu Woodcut from Weifang has earned a repulation for many years.What's more,as is known to all,it is called ''The World Kite Capital'',and welcome lots of friends from abroad each year.

I know Weifang is famous for kite and a kind of radish, because I had a roommate before who came from there.
By the way, why you said  Zhu geliang was from your city? He was from Linyi.
