I am from Anhui province,,Hefei city. Anhui province which locates in the east of China, governs 17 cities of locally administered level , and has 66.7 million people. Hefei , the center of politics, economics and culture, which owns 4.62 million people, is the capital of Anhui . Throuth Reform and Open policy, Anhui has made large achievements in every aspects, especially economics. GDP in 2007 is ￥73.457 billion, increasing 13.9% comparison to 2006. So the living standard of citizens has been improved a lot. Now let me introduce some relatively important cities to all of you .First, Hefei city, the center of Anhui, is famous for base of high education. University of Science and Technology of China,Hefei Industrial University and Anhui University etc, all lies here. Every year a grate number of students from all over the country come here to pursue knowledge . As a citizen of Hefei, i feel proud. Second, Wuhu , is a beautiful city situated nearby Yangtze River. Through self-efforts and attracting foreign investment, it has achieved amazing progress in many aspects. Third, Huainan , an energy city, is well-known for its coal resources and bean curd. The coal resources are provided to many cities for use of making electricity .Still, Anhui university of science and technology, my mother school, locates here. The last one , Huangshan city, is famous for Huangshan mountain , which can be the logo of Anhui scenic spots. In fact ,there are many places of interest in Anhui . I just give a general image to you .Welcome to Anhui so that you can have a comprehensive understanding of it. |

i am from henan province.my county town's name is Minquan, it is named for one of the Three People's Principles which is mentioned by Sunzhongshan~~ maybe it is founded for not a long time, just several decades, but our city is existed for about 4000 years,its name is shangqiu~~ shangqiu is existed from BC 24 century, now it is a very important railroad junction of southern and northern China~~ |
