I am his successor as Professor of Theoretical Chemistry in the Chemistry Department of the University of Namur (FUNDP) and I can offer you such a position starting in the summer 2011. Proposed topics of research will be related and complementary to the research you have carried out so far and consider the electronic, optical, and magnetic properties of new organic compounds. A few illustrations of previous studies are attached below. Belgium is also one of the best countries in the world with respect to social security: the social security is automatically covered with your position. Considering the starting date in the summer 2011, what is the probability that you will be available in August 1st 2011? and what is, from your side, the probability that you will come to my Lab? These are two important questions for me. The next step is to see how much time do we need for the formal administrative steps. For the University of Namur, things are rapid; I have the impression, on the other hand, that the key issue is the delivrance of a VISA and that it usually takes about 6 months.
