         So they flew through a flaw in the flue.

         “Go, my son, and shut the shutter.”

         This I heard a mother utter.

         “Shutter’s shut,” the boy did murmur.

         “I can’t shut it any shutter,”

         Sheep shouldn’t sleep in a shack.

         Sheep should sleep in a shed.

         Betty bought some butter, “But,” she said,

         “this butter’s bitter, and a bit of better butter

         would make a better batter.” So she bought

         a bit of butter better than the bitter butter,

         and it made her batter better---so it was that

         Betty bought a bit of better butter!
