Will you take care of your parents when they are old?
The old grandma in the picture above is 93 years old. Her husband died when he was about 50 years old. She has been bring up 2 sons and 3 daughters. But since 30 years ago, neither of her sons has taken care of her. Now she is living in a dangerous broken house. Her daughters have been looking her after these years. But her sons don't allow them to bring their mother to their home. " They just want me to die!" She said in tears. I am sorry to hear this piece of news. I am very angry! When heard of this news, I was not only having mercy on this elderly person, but also looked down her two sons, who was brought up by this pathetic old mother, but they didn't assume their obligations as a son to take care of their mother. Now the two sons must have their families, her wife and their children. I just want to ask them, when you are old, your children treat you just as you do to your mother, what can you do and how grieveful you wiil be! Every one wiil become old, respect the old just be equal to respect yourself! In my opinion, this bad phenomenon seldom happened, To solve a this problem, we must do some something as the following thing. First and most important, breeding the old is always the chilren's responsibility. Parents devoted all they have to make sure their children a happy lives. Therefor, when they are old and can't look after themselves, their children are bound to help them. Second, there are many needy places, where they are too poor to feed their old parents. At this time, on one hand the government must take precautions to advance the local economy, on the other hand, the government can also provide some help to those impoverished families. Finally legislation must be made to protect the rights of the old. If the children want to desert their parents, they must be punished. If we can enforce the above suggestions, the old can definitely have a nice and peaciful old age!!! |

How pathetic the old woman! we should take good care of our parents when they become older, in fact what they want is so simple. I know it is no picnic to bring up a baby, and we we should pay back our parents as well as we can. |
