Will you take care of your parents when they are old?
The old grandma in the picture above is 93 years old. Her husband died when he was about 50 years old. She has been bring up 2 sons and 3 daughters. But since 30 years ago, neither of her sons has taken care of her. Now she is living in a dangerous broken house. Her daughters have been looking her after these years. But her sons don't allow them to bring their mother to their home. " They just want me to die!" She said in tears. I am sorry to hear this piece of news. I am very angry! | That report is an extreme example. Contrary to this, all of friends coming here give the positive answers that we will take care of our parents when they are very old. Then a problem bursts into my mind how to take care of our parents in the future. On the one hand, we do not intend to come back to our remote village after I get my PhD degree. But on the other hand, we are predestinated to be not wealthy in the following years. This means that we can not afford a house which is the basic requirement to live in the big and morden metropolis. In this condition, we can not live in the same place with our parents. This geographic distance will be a big barrier when our parents want us to take a cup of warm water. They need a long-term care when they are very old. Our occasional staying for several days is not useful. So from now on I decide to change my original idear and then find a job in a small city in the future. In small city, both the living price and house price are considerably low compared with big city. There I will buy a house and let my parents live with me. I can talk with them every day and make them happy. |

How pathetic the old woman! we should take good care of our parents when they become older, in fact what they want is so simple. I know it is no picnic to bring up a baby, and we we should pay back our parents as well as we can. |
