以下资料转自《The Internet for Radiology Practice》 门户网站: Auntminnie.com Auntminnie.com serves as a complete information and resource site for radiologists, both practicing and in-training, as well as for other personnel affiliated with the practice of radiology. There are daily updates on news items, teaching cases, information about people in the radiology news, and discussion forums. Other resources provided include articles and forums about technology, education, markets, and the marketplace. Auntminnie.com offers services such as CME, setting up websites for practices, conference listings, and daily information fax services. An affiliated bookstore as well as ancillary services such as high-speed access and advertising that may interest some users are also available. Registration is required in order to use many of the site’s features. Dimag.com Dimag.com provides a comprehensive daily update to the news in radiology. This website is an adjunct to the published monthly magazine that covers all topics in radiology practice. It also has links to special features including PACS, teleradiology, and MRI, among others. Access to webcasts (broadcasts) from RSNA as well as to past forums is available. This website provides a vast source of new information as well as archives of useful data. Radcentral.com Radiology Central is a resource for radiologists run by a radiologist—Gary Radner, Director of Neuroimaging, Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, and Assistant Professor of Radiology, University of Southern California. This site provides links for medical news in both radiology and general medicine, cases of the week/month websites, organizations, and departments, as well as specialty and educational resources. This is a good website to start with if one also wants information about medicine in general. Radinfonet.com Radiology Info Net is a website with such resources for radiologists as online CME, cases, protocols, news, practice management information, and other information pertinent to the practicing radiologist. There are useful links to a conference calendar, expert opinions on subspecialty areas, and a forum for discussion with other radiologists. Radiologist.com/comm1a.htm Radiologist.com is a resource site for radiologists run by a radiologist. It exclusively includes links to sites that are pertinent to the radiologist, including radiology websites, educational resources, societies and journals, teleradiology, PACS, and DICOM, as well as specific modalities and subspecialties. This site is a good beginning resource to explore the world of radiology on the web. Radiology.com/pacs Radiology.com has secured the most coveted URL of all the portals. It was founded in 1989 and later acquired in 1997 by iWeb Corporation for corporate development. Radiologist.com servces as an application service provider (ASP) with services that enable digitized medical images to be stored, retrieved, and transmitted online through a central, web-based image repository called ImageBank™. This is not a resource portal to research other radiology websites. Radiologyweb.com Radiologyweb.com is a comprehensive site for radiologists, both practicing and in-training, with fact- and information-filled sections from “Insights and Impressions” to cases of the month. A CME, meeting finder, and job listings are included. The structure of this website is interesting in that it is commercially backed by an unrestricted grant from Bracco Diagnostics, has a team running the website, and is supported with educational material from an impressive list of individuals from Yale to Hong Kong. Registration is required to use most of the information available. |
