The 2010 international workshop on construction and maintenance for Service-oriented Software (CmSOS 2010) To be held in conjunction with: 2010 IEEE Asia-Pacific Services Computing Conference IMPORTANT NOTICE: l Submission Deadline is Aug 30th. l All accepted papers of the workshop will be published in the IEEE APSCC2010 conference proceedings,IEEE Xplore and indexed by EI. Please send your contribution to Submission System(https://apscc2010.hdu.edu.cn/myreviewCM/index.php) Objectives: Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) shifts the focus of software development from application programming to service composition based on standard protocols. With a great potential to enhance system flexibility and extensibility to meet the dynamic changing business needs, it has been one of the most promising computing paradigm in the Internet era. Presently, many of today’s large-scale software projects in the area of distributed systems and especially enterprise IT adopt service-oriented architecture and technologies. In contrast to traditional software, service-based software is intrinsic heterogeneous, dynamic and collaborative. However, traditional software engineering approaches are not perfectly appropriate for service-oriented applications. The limitations of traditional methods in the context of service-oriented computing have led to the construction and maintenance of service-oriented software as a new specialist discipline, but research in this area is still immature and many open issues remain. There is an urgent need for research community and industry practitioners to develop comprehensive engineering principles, methodologies and tool support for the development, maintenance and evolution of service-oriented software. The aim of CmSOS 2010 is to encourage academic researchers and industry practitioners to present and discuss all construction and maintenance-related research and experiences in a very broad spectrum of service oriented computing. Topics: Workshop topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following: -Methodologies and processes of service-oriented software lifecycle -Distributed and collaborative development of service-oriented software -Service-oriented reference models and frameworks -Architectural styles and standards for service-oriented software -Management and governance of service-oriented software -Models, languages and methods for service-oriented analysis and design -Requirements-engineering for service-oriented software -Service-oriented business process modeling -Validation, verification and testing of service-oriented software -Service composition, adaption -Service-oriented Software production lines -Tool support for service-oriented software -Case studies and best practices of service-oriented development Paper preparation and Submission: Author are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original unpublished research and recent developments in the topics related to the workshop. Submissions should include abstract, 5-10 keywords, and the e-mail address of the corresponding author and be in PDF format. Each submission must not exceed 12 pages with 10 point font, including tables and figures. Each submission should be regarded as an undertaking that, should the submission be accepted, at least one of the auth must attend the conference to present the work in order that the accepted paper can be put into digital library. Submitting a paper to the workshop means that if the paper is accepted, at least one author should attend the workshop to present the paper. For no-show authors, their papers will be removed from the digital library after the conference and their affiliations will receive a notification. Authors are invited to submit an electronic version of original, unpublished manuscripts via UCS website: The manuscript should be written in English and follow IEEE two-column format with single-spaced, ten-point font in the text. The maximum manuscript length is eight (8) pages including figures and references. All submitted papers will be refereed by reviewers in terms of correctness, originality, technical strength, significance and quality of presentation. Please send your contribution to Submission System(https://apscc2010.hdu.edu.cn/myreviewCM/index.php) Publications: The final version of an accepted paper will be limited to 8 pages in the IEEE proceeding 8.5''x 11'' two-column format. The accepted papers have to be registered and presented at the conference venue, and will be published in proceedings of the APSCC 2010 conference. The proceedings of the workshop program will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press and available online through IEEE Xplore (Indexed by EI) Important Dates: Workshop Submission Deadline: Aug 30, 2010 Workshop Author Notification: Sep 15, 2010 Workshop Camera-ready: Oct 9, 2010 Workshop Chair: JianWei Yin (Zhejiang University, China) Xiaofei Xu(Harbin Institute of Technology, China) Commitee: Yanbo Han(Institute of Software Chinese Academy of Sciences, China) Wenbo Zhang(Institute of Software Chinese Academy of Sciences, China) JianWei Yin (Zhejiang University, China) Qin Wu(Hangzhou Dianzi University, China) Li Ying (Zhejiang University, China) Shuiguang Deng(Zhejiang University, China) Jian Wu(Zhejiang University, China) Li Kuang(Hangzhou Normal University, China) YuYu Yin(Hangzhou Dianzi University, China) Lu Jin(Zhejiang University, China) Bin Wu(Zhejiang University, China) See more information at https://apscc2010.hdu.edu.cn If any questions can send emails to apscc2010@gmail.com [ Last edited by ianchoi on 2010-8-20 at 16:10 ] |
