【经验分享】收到一位外方教授的回复，请大家注意一下 已有12人参与

The normal policy in our department is that we do not sponsor visiting faculty unless the visitor is engaged in joint research with one of our faculty members. We have received many inquiries from scholars funded by the China Scholar Council (CSC) and have declined all of them for this reason. The CSC-funded inquiries we have received have not been carefully targeted. Rather, they appear to be mass emails sent in the hope of stimulating any invitation, irrespective of whether there is good potential for collaboration. To be blunt, there is no benefit to us from having a visitor who is not engaged in research related to our research, and the many untargeted inquiries from CSC-funded researchers have become an annoyance for us. ================================================ 建议大家最好找研究方向一致的教授投! 还有不要同一个系里同时投给不同的教授，肯定死定！ 他说把我的简历给系里另外两位中国教授看了，印象很好....（晕啊，还给了两个人看！）让我发paper给他，还说发中文的也可以（不是还有中国人在那儿么）。其实这个学校的地理位置我不大满意，不过having is better than nothing! 精耕细作和广撒网要结合啊，大家一起努力！ [ Last edited by mimay on 2010-8-20 at 00:00 ] |
