[交流] 首次和心仪的老板电邮联系，怎么写已有4人参与

本人打算硕士毕业后去港，查了好久。终于找到了自己心仪老板，但有不知怎么写，哪位高手指点一下，有没有什么模板什么的，该写些什么？

It's pleasure for me to make acquaintance of you. I am writing this message to look for any opportunities for prospective PhD student. Your advices or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a young mechanical engineer from China, holding a M.S. degree in XXXX (State Key Laboratory of XXX, University of XXX). I have known you since I took part in a research project on XXXX. In that period, I read several of your papers, e.g., "XXXXXXXXXXXX" published in International Journal of XXX, from which I was inspired a lot.

I am very interested in the field of XXXX, and longing to continue my study in this direction. Since you are a well known specialist in this field, I believe that it will be very helpful to my academic career if I have the chance to continue my research work under your advice.
