B: OK!
It means A and his friends will play basketball. But B won't participate.

B here refers to A's dad.

In many cases, let's = let us, like can't = can not. But when you decide to do sth and want sb else to join you, you could say let's (do it); if you ask or request or demand sb sth, you should say let us.

yeah! that's i want ! in my memory when i study in junior high school, the English teacher had  taught us about it ,but i can't remember clearly. thank you very much .
our English teacher impress on me and my English was  good  at that time ,however she were taken ill then can't teach us ,from then on we studied English not hard . i have feelling sorry for her now
