Hello there, this is the first one of a series of posts. Let's play with English and that's what it is all about in the English Cafe, isn't it. For every post, an English sentence will be shown. Let us break the sentence down. 1. His head was broken 2. (after or simultaneously) His head was bleeding. Bleed means "to take or remove blood from". Here we don't use passive voice because bleed here in itself is passive. |
