There is one boy in my supplementary class. He is special not because his acuteness, but his unsensitive to almost all courses, especially English. Though I have taught him many times how to read English words and how to use the International Phonetic Alphabet, he even doesn't remember a simple one. What should I do to help him bear words in mind? |

I have to say it happens and I met a couple of this kind ... I guess it is partly because they just resist it unconsciously when you tought him, adding inadequate practise it becomes reasonable ... Of course there are cures 1. Make sure he/she trys him/her best. (Without your supervision) 2. Just let it happen ..., people around the world speaks their English, I mean we all have accent. Actually, the only thing one needs to concern about is those foreigner can understand. I mate some, they say: we can understand it perfectly... faint ... |
