Efficient recovery and utilization of waste heat during sintering is crucial for iron and steel plants in China. The thermal performance of the prepared granulated sinter mixes in the dry zone, in the weight range of 10mg, 10g, and 100g, respectively, was investigated using the techniques like thermo gravimetric and differential thermal analysis. The results indicated that the drying of a sinter mix consisted of three stages, including a short rising-rate period, a long constant-rate period, and a certain falling-rate period, ascribed to the drying behavior. Depending on the sintering conditions, the moisture contents of samples were 5.5-6.0% by weight of solid in the first 5-7 minutes, and the critical moisture contents were approximately 2.3-3.0% after the flash drying through a tunnel dryer. It was found that the drying efficiency could be improved within a certain range by increasing the temperature, which played a greater impact, and the flow rate of the hot air. Overall, the result was suggestive of rational capabilities of the low-temperature waste heat for drying the sinter mixture in the iron and steel industry. 斜线部分觉得很别扭,求达人~! 另外,其他地方有不对的,请指正~~ |

It was found that the drying efficiency could be improved to a certain extent by increasing the flow rate of hot air and the (tunnel?) temperature, which is the (main) deciding factor. Overall, the result was suggestive of rational capabilities of the low-temperature waste heat for drying the sinter mixture in the iron and steel industry. p.s. the meaning of the last sentence is not clear. |
