| 动物的循环系统由心脏和血管2部分组成。人的心脏由左心室、右心室、左心房和右心房构成。左心室发出主动脉，输送含氧多的血液到全身各处的器官，与器官的细胞进行气体交换；血液中的氧气扩散入细胞内供细胞生物氧化，细胞代谢过程中产生的二氧化碳扩散入血液使其转变为含二氧化碳多的静脉血。这些静脉血分别经下腔静脉和上腔静脉返回到右心房，再进入右心室。右心室发出肺动脉，输送含二氧化碳多的血液到肺部与肺泡中的气体进行交换，呼出二氧化碳，吸进新鲜氧气，使含二氧化碳多的静脉血转变成含氧多的动脉血。这些含氧多的动脉血经肺静脉返回到左心房，再进入左心室。这种循环模式称为完全双循环，人、哺乳动物和鸟类的血液循环途径具有相同的模式。 |
