The electrochemical window refers to a potential range between which the substance can not be oxidized or reduced.When we carry out C-V scanning, we have to ensure the research redox couple is working in the electrochemical window of the solvent and electrodes, so that they can not interfere the electrochemical reactions of redox couple. That is, the C-V curves of the solvent and the electrodes is lines in their electrochemical windows.
