In this paper, transient single hot-wire method and the temperature, viscosity, refined depth on the thermal conductivity of transformer oil, focusing on a transformer oil base oil hydrocarbon composition and thermal conductivity of the association. The results show that the thermal conductivity of transformer oil is mainly determined by the composition of base oil, and CP, CA value was positively correlated with the refined depth, the viscosity is small.

In this paper, The method of transient single hot-wire method was used and the temperature, viscosity, refined depth reflecting on the thermal conductivity of transformer oil were studied, This article focused on a relevance between hydrocarbon composition of base oil and thermal conductivity of transformer oil. The results showed that the thermal conductivity of transformer oil was mainly determined by the composition of base oil, was positively correlated with CP, CA value and was less affected by the refined depth, the viscosity.
