In order to meet the need of market and customer, a type of transformer oil used by electric locomotives is developed by taking imported oil for reference. In this paper, the quality standard and test method for thermophysical properties has been constituted. According to the study of different kinds of base oils, transformer oil following the requirement of specifications is produced by blending naphthenic base oil with appropriate paraffin base oil and adding proper amount of antioxidant. Comparing with imported oil, the quality of this product is slightly better. Now the transformer oil has been successfully applied in high-power electric locomotive produced by CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co Ltd(ZELC). |
