Just now, I was doing fractional distillaton experiment, when the solvent bursted out of the flask because of the vapor expension during the heating. the spill ran into the oil bath, heavy smoke came out later and fire alarm linked to the safe guard center triggered immediately, the guard in charge of the fire-fighting system came up to the lab at full stretch.... Luckily, nothing seriously happened, ha-ha~ Do you have the same or similar experience during you experiments? |
