Description
· To carry out the assigned tasks and report progress to the department Head.
· To design and establish environmental verification scope, environment and methodologies.
· To define PA scope, make PA plan and book test houses
· To carry out effectively and efficiently all the verification activities regarding Climatic, Mechanical, Power/PLD, Product Safety, EMC, Lightning, Acoustic and Robustness.
· To drive PA activities (Safety/EMC/Radio approval, Certificate, TCF and SDoC) to be completed on time
· To review and release ENV and PA test reports and analyze verification results.
· To participate in required operational development of the PA process
· Responsible for Trouble Report (TR) and Change Request (CR) handling within the objects.

Qualifications
· Bachelor or above degree, major in EE or equivalent
· Knowledge of fixed broadband communication systems
· Comprehensive knowledge on relevant global environmental standards and environment verification of the same
· Comprehensive knowledge on relevant global regulatory standards and product approval procedures
· Good documentation knowledge
· Excellent communication skills and social abilities
· Good co-ordination skills
· Effective written and oral English communication skills

Description

Tasks could include, but not be limited to:
- To carry out the assigned tasks and report progress to the team leader.
- To cooperate with the System and Design engineers in the task to ensure that the designed products fulfill the requirement in an efficient way.
- Design, review, execute, and debug the test. Report issues (TR) found during the test and verify the fix of the TR.
- Responsible for review or writing technical documents, e.g. System Requirements, Design specification, Test Specification, and etc.
- Responsible for coding/scripting the automation test functions
- Responsible for integrating hardware and software to setup the test environment
- Efficiently communicate with engineers from other teams in China and other countries

Qualifications
- M.Sc. or B.Sc in Computer Science or telecommunication engineering or related discipline (Masters preferred)
- 2 years or above test or development experience in IP and broadband product area
- Experienced in telecommunication protocols, any of following protocols: TCP/IP stack, SNMP, 802.1d/1p/1q, SIP
- Experienced in C /JAVA programming and Perl/Bash scripting
- Good understanding of networking technologies at Layer-2/Layer-3 (e.g., Ethernet switching, bridging, VLAN, IP routing and forwarding)
- Good Analytic ability and good capacity to structure a problem and gather information
- Good technical writing, communication skills and high proficiency in English both oral and written
- Must be self-motivated, good team player; be able to work cohesively within the team and across geographically spread teams to accomplish results

Description Responsibilities
· To carry out the assigned tasks and report progress to the System Design Manager and Project Manager.
· To lead technical teams during quick or feasibility study periods of a project and produce Implementation Proposals, Statement of Compliance to requirements and input to sourcing for pricing analysis and produce Implementation Proposals, Statement of Compliance to requirements and input to sourcing for pricing analysis
· To manage the necessary technical communication with peer organizations to fulfill the requirements for the projects
· To secure quality of the project developed at the DUIB Design Center by chairing the Change Control Boards (CCB) for designated products

· To support the System Design Manager that Ways of Working & processes are kept up to date for an efficient R&D operation

Main tasks
· Come with inputs to overall system product design based on requirements raised by Product Management.
· Take lead in SW architectural design tasks as a part of larger product design projects
· Analyze new technologies and existing systems to come up with proposals for either performance or cost improvements.
· Make sure local projects are aligned with global Ericsson technology and product roadmaps
· Propose new product ideas to improve the existing port folio
· Mentor junior team members and drive competence areas assigned
· Participate in local Chinese Standardization when applicable

Qualifications
· University degree in CS, EE, Telecom or equivalent
· Excellent knowledge of Communication systems and their design
· Minimum 5 years experience in Telecom networking areas; e.g. Carrier Ethernet, Broadband Access or IP Routing with proven industry experience.
· At least one major contribution in a HW or SW project preferable within communication systems in an international company or major Chinese company. (i.e. Chassis based system with High speed backplanes and redundant line cards)
· Detailed architectural knowledge of telecom systems
· Desired experience on FPGA's, purpose built ASIC's (i.e. Ethernet Switching ASIC, xDSL chipsets) and communication/network processor
· Experience on Real Time Linux OS based SW architectures
· Understanding of the Telecom market and its players
· Good communication skills and social ability.
· Fluent in English speaking and writing.
· Diligent and driving for excellence
