7.3 How to read a paper

|
Today I read an advice that is how to read a paper efficiently,I try to translate it to English and share with others. You should read the abstract at least including the title after you get a paper.Two piece of crucial information that are what job has the authors done and what’s the results they have gotten you can obtain from the abstract.Then we dicede to continue to read it or not. If you are interested in the contents you should study it carefully.Benefits such as a new way to deal with this kind of problems ,reading results and discussions easily,mistakes in the results for the bad way used by the authors and so on. These are main parts of a paper,meanwhile anthor part about the author’s organization we also should pay attention to .It is useful for us to be familiar with the situation of subjects we studing. Finally we should read it with a clear aim and think when reading the paper . I hope it’s helpful to you and you point out the mistakes at the same time. |
