Uruguay beat South Korea with 2-1. David Suarez scored two goals for Uruguay. He gained three goals in four matches. At the last 10 minutes, South Korea still had opportunities to change the score, but Lee Dong-guk wasted the best chance. The twice champion winner Uruguay finally reached last eight after beating South Korea, last time they played quarter-final was 40 years ago. Now, Uruguay is the first team to step in the last eight.
