The fracture pattern in high temperature changes from transgranular to interfranular rupture with decreasing the temperature or stress. The mechanism of ductile fracture is that cracks initiate in defects and expand to rupture. and
intergranular fracture is that microvoids clustering grow to rupture .The ductile-brittle stress of ptIr5 0DS is the biggest, and PtIr5 smallest.the longitudinal section of PtIr5 ODS and PtIr5Zr are still polygon after creep. but the grains have a large deformation along tensile axis to PtIr5.the grain size becomes larger with increasing stress to the same compositon and temperature.
