Chemical engineering is that engineering discipline that emphasizes chemistry. Those involved in chemical engineering should have a working knowledge of chemistry and chemical engineering. Chemical engineering involves mass and heat transfer of chemical products. Chemical engineering is in the fluid flow field as well. Those working in the field of Chemical engineering are involved in a variety of area. Chemical engineering is found in research and development, in process design, plant design and construction, sales management. Chemical engineering has been responsible for products and process that modern society enjoys today. Chemical engineering has been ranged from petroleum and petrochemical products to products coming from natural minerals and deposits. Chemical engineering has produced gasoline, packaging film and working on developing fuel cells for the future electric car. |
