Controlling transmission accuracy is an extra crucial requirement for design and manufacture. This paper firstly presents a mathematical model for precision analysis on this type of gear, which enable simulates mesh stiffness, backlash and angular transmission error on system level with consideration of cycloid manufacture tolerance, elastic deformation. Secondly, the solution is developed as a module which includes effect from other components, such as bearing stiffness, crank shaft offset error as a whole system. Finally, one typical cycloid reducer, RV gearbox, is built and analyzed to demonstrate the practical value. |
