[Abstract]
The socialist central value system embodies the essence of contemporary Chinese ideology. In this paper, the internal structure and function of socialist central value system are analyzed based on the perspective of political socialization. Besides, the role of political socialization consolidating the socialist central value system as the guiding ideology of China has also been analyzed. In macroscopical scale, it can be used to guide the citizen ideology by putting the critical points of political socialization in cultivating national patriotism spirit as well as reform and innovation spirit, besides conducting the behavior "politicians" by the socialistic concept on the honor and disgrace. In microscopical scale, the citizen characters can also be trained. Through both closely cooperation, the ideology function of socialist central value system can be realized.
