[交流] Courage 已有1人参与

Courage is a hard thing to figure. You can have courage based on dumb idea or mistake, but you are not supposed to question adults, or your teacher, because they make the rules. May be they know best, but maybe they did not, it all depends on who you are, where you come from. Didn’t at lease one of the six hundred guys think about giving up and joining with the other side? I mean, valley of death that is pretty salty stuff. That is why courage it is tricky. Should you always do what others tell you to do? Sometimes you might not even know why you are doing something. I mean any fool can have courage, but honor, that is the real reason you either do something or you don’t. It is who you are and maybe who you want to be. If you die trying for something important then you both have honor and courage, and that is pretty good, I think that is what the writer was saying, that you should hope for courage and try for honor, and maybe even pray that the people telling you what to do have some, too.

Courage for what?
I think this point really matters.

Every person has his/her own life goal.
And hard to say, any life goal is good or bad.
But some people's life goals are very ideal and ambitious.
And they are quite unlikely to come true.
So it is a big risk.
Now for them, they need courage to go on for the rest of their life.
