Traditional chinese handwriting is an art, also, there're lots of handwriting artists both in ancient times and in morden times.
Computer has its merits and demerits. Now, I can not write a paper without computer beacuse I always make mistake in chinese character.
Maybe its a good idea that students before getting into the university are prohibited to do homework with computer. Maybe there are other good ideas.

It is really a meaningful topic.
The importance of handwriting decreases a lot in people’s heart. Indeed, we nearly forget where we can use the handwriting. Especially the youth and children cannot realize its importance.
I think our elementary education should release some space to children without so much homework. More homework doesn’t mean better education quality.
We should set up some courses to raise children’s handwriting. No nice-looking handwriting of Chinese character after many years will be a terrible thing.

handwrting skill is important all the same .just take me for example ,i'm a sophomore .for  most  of the time ,when i'm in my dormitory,I use my computer as a tool to do sth ,but when out ,i will take  my pen along .moreover ,i think from one's handwriting ,i can read sth about him(her) ,their diligence ,cautions ,habit and so on .so we must take it seriously !
