Discussion on the flexible application of wall interface in the modern household design With the development of material civilization and multicultural infiltration, the modern people have transformed their requirements to living space from standardization and formalization to flexibility and diversification. It is sure that wall interface plays a significantly important role to realize the flexible space although it is often ignored. This paper introduces the application and its future of wall interface in the modern households based on the four aspects of wall interface, i.e. definition, significance, research emphases as well as research status.
