[交流] 【Leisure chat】South Korea says North torpedoed ship 已有5人参与

South Korea accused the reclusive North on Thursday of torpedoing one of its warships, heightening tensions in the region and drawing a warning from Washington that Pyongyang must face consequences.

China, a veto-wielding member of the U.N. Security Council, could derail any efforts to impose tougher sanctions on Pyongyang. Its hesitance to echo the international condemnation of the North could also complicate U.S. diplomatic efforts to work with Beijing on bilateral and global issues.

It is hard to say. But if North Korea is wise enough, it should not do that. Moreover, the nuclear crisis of north Korea is very hot, any sensitive move would be very harmful to its international relations, which would be deadly for itself.
