[交流] 论文被拒已有12人参与

Thank you for your email and attachment, received 19 April 2010.

Your paper, like all recently submitted papers, has been the subject of a preliminary review. Unfortunately we will not be sending your paper for a full formal review because we think that the 'goodness of fit' between your paper and our Journal is questionable.

The main reason for not proceeding with a full review is that, as I understand it, your paper is essentially an interesting treatment of an established but little understood problem employing a novel analytical method. In my view, however, it does not present substantive explanatory research findings of interest to the truly international readership of TPT, in the sense of providing novel insights or contributing significant additional value. However, it may be that a different journal (e.g., Transportation) might be more supportive of your work.

I realise this is not the response you were looking for but trust that you will understand our reasoning. Please do not interpret this result as a lack of interest in your research area because that is not the case. But in future we are looking for more empirically based and explanatory research results that fit well with the aims and scope of the Journal.

论文2周后被拒，期刊的效率挺高的，有点小失望。
