《阿甘正传》 阿甘，一个智商75的个体，其独特生活体验，让世人明白了什么叫做真诚和执著。阿甘的人生真理Stupid Is As Stupid Does也近乎至理名言。阿甘这部影片带给我们的除了心灵上的冲击和震撼、如何做一个The Ideal Cttizen For The Modern World-A Perfect Idiont的思考，还有其精彩的剧本语言。我们在此仅做简单剖析，以飧读者。 例一： Mrs.Gum p: Forrest, I told you not to bother this nice young man. Elvis Presley: No, that's all right ma'am. I was just showing him a thing or two on the guitar here. 这是猫王和阿甘的母亲所进行的一个简短对话。也许你还会记得阿甘在这个场景里可笑的舞姿，其实这正是猫王以后赖以成名的招牌动作。黑体语言是现实生活里外国人经常使用的日常英语词汇。这个短语的意思是基本的，入门的。使用这种类型的电影短语，可以使我们的表达更加生动、地道，富有生命力。 例如：Let me show you a thing or two on how to play the piano. 例二： Jenny: Run, Forrest! Run! Forrest: Now, it used to be, I ran to getswheresI was going. I never thought it would take me anywhere. 以上黑体部分是阿甘在发现自己的奔跑能力后说的一句话。它的意思是我从没有想到跑步会跑出什么名堂来。这个结构是国外人士经常使用的，而中国学习者可能很少见到。 例如：Stop being this way, it won't take you anywhere, believe me!相信我，这样是没有用的。 Mary firmly believe in being on diet insgroupsto lose some weight, but I don't think it will take anywhere as long as she keeps sitting there hours all the time. 玛利坚信节食减肥法，但是我认为她只要还是整天只坐着而不运动，这就没有用的。 例三： Boy friend: what the hell is going on here? Why you do that? 电影语言的最大特点就是真实。而以上这个例子里，JENNY因为阿甘动手打了她的男朋友，而被男朋友所抛弃。她极力的解释：他什么也不懂。(他是个愣头青)。这个表达法在初次看到的时候似乎没有什么特别的。但是其实它并不简单。要领悟到其隐含的意思并不容易。然而一旦领悟了，要想灵活使用，就不是什么难事了。 在电影里，这样简单易学的地道表达法随处可见。 《毕业生》 和《阿甘正传》不同，电影《毕业生》则是从另一个角度反映了美国社会的情况。电影主人公是一个前途辉煌的年轻人，BENG JINMING。他出身显赫，年轻气盛，但却在毕业后迷失了人生方向，并由此产生了一段爱情故事。这部电影揭示了当时美国社会所带给人民的彷徨和迷茫，尤其是给年轻一代的困惑。影片的语言简洁，明了，又非常的实用。非常值得语言学习者观赏和效仿。让我们一同来感受一下吧。 例一： Ben: I drove Mrs. Robinson home. She wanted me to drive her home so I drove her home. Mr. Robinson: Swell. I appreciate it. Ben: She's upstairs. She wanted me to wait down here till you got home. Mr. Robinson: Standing guard over the old castle, are you? 在电影英语里，有很多的文化性的表达法出现，这些表达法充分的反映了语言的生命力，也正是我们要通过电影学习地道英语的重要原因之一。在以上所举的例子里，Mr. Robinson夸奖Ben非常的有绅士风度，使用了一个我们所不熟悉的表达法。但是由字面的意思看去，我们恍若回到中世纪，见到那时的骑士城堡外为自己的心上人守夜，以表示对她的忠诚，由此使我们不由地想起了中文里"护花使者"的表达。这样的话，聪明的你当然知道怎么使用这个短语了。 例二： Mrs. Robinson: Insgroupsto keep Elaine away from you,I am prepared to tell her everything. Ben: I don't believe you. Mrs. Robinson: Then you'd better start believing me. Ben: I just don't believe you would do that.
