这是当时编辑的回信，其实也比较中肯。后来我的文章发在JPCC上了。 Thank you for your message regarding the status of your manuscript. I am sorry that the review time has been longer than is usual for ChemComm, however due to the time of year several of the referees have been unable to provide reports. I then received two reports that provided conflicting recommendations and therefore the manuscript was sent to an adjudicative referee for consideration. Based on all three reports below, I regret to inform you that the above manuscript has not been accepted for publication in ChemComm. Referee A and the adjudicative referee suggest that the work is of insufficient novelty and impact to warrant urgent publication in a general chemistry journal such as ChemComm. I would therefore encourage you to revise the manuscript in line with the comments in the reports and then submit it to a more specialised journal in due course. Please note that the acceptance rate for ChemComm is <30% of submitted manuscripts. Criteria for acceptance in ChemComm are that work should be original and significant, and of wide general appeal or exceptional interest in its specialised area. |
