Two post-doc positions in molecular modelling opening in Singapore

Applications are invited for two post-doc on theoretical and computational chemistry in Prof. Lee Soo-Ying's group, school of physical and mathematical sciences, Nanyang Technological University. The two positions can support the following research directions: 1) excited state computational chemistry, computational spectroscopy. 2) ab initio and molecular dynamics to simulate surface and nanoparticle adsorption, chemical reaction mechanisms. 3) ab initio molecular dynamics simulation for proton transfer in water. 4) quantum wavepacket dynamics. 5) semiclassical dynamics By the way, applicant with master degree in computational chemistry or molecular modelling are welcomed to apply. One of the possible way is to be hired as research associate/project officer and can continue study as a part-time PhD. Your research project and research achievement can be used as in the PhD thesis. By this way, the trouble of GRE and TOEFL can be avoided as successful candidate for RA/PO does not need to take GRE and TOEFL.
