"The present report is maiinly on the radical polymerization of acrylamide under the catalyzation of ammonium ceric nitrate and pentaerythrite as a redox system, according to the current study on highly branching macromolecule. A series of muti-branching nonionic water-soluble polyacrylamide were synthesized. The synthesis methods were investigated systematically, and the best one was found. The stability of the aqueous solution of polyacrylamide was studied by the determination of its specific viscosity. The results showed that the new nonionic polyacrylamide was rather stable below pH=12. Based on results above, on-site oil extraction was employed, and the flocculation of muti-branching polyacrylamide was studied. The result showed that when flocculant forms complex, the effect was quite satisfactory, which provides theoretical principle for its applications to some extent. |
