Unfortunatley the paper is mainly descriptive despite the fact that an established body of simple modeling tools exists which could relate the observations to our understanding of how these surface textures influence adhesion and wettability. This area is very topical and many commercial applications are emerging. Therefore results in this subject area need to go beyond the descriptive and explain observations. |
