It depends. Freedom of speech is an important part of the human rights. Any country in the globe that claims to safeguard the human rights should upholds the freedom of speech. But the freedom of speech must with the permission of its constitution. When scaling down, freedom of speech in our daily life and in dealing with the interpersonal relationship, we should keep in mind any speech you made should follow the common moral criteria. You should not offend others on the excuse of freedom of speech. Even if you are justified to voice your different opinion, just try to make it in a proper way, in a low-profile way, in a respectful way. Othewise, you will go to the opposite direction you are supposed to.  |
