It is clearly observed that holes have been formed in all of the three samples. At the same time, from Fig. 3-1, the specific surface area of the pure sample is the smallest. It is also seen from the characterization of photocatalytic activity that the activity of sample A is smaller that the other two, which indicates the specific surface area has some influence on the photocatalytic activity. The specific surface area of B is the largest followed by that of C, so the adsorption should be better, and the photocatalytic activity should be better. However, the characterization of photocatalytic activity shows that the catalytic activity of codoping is the upmost one. This indicates that the specific surface area is only one important factor of photocatalytic activity and the codoping of S and N has some synergistic effect which plays the dominant role in the study. |
