[交流] 【Leisure chat】Formal English or Unformal English

In advanced English class, our teacher classified words, phrases and even sentences into two categories, Formal English containing legal, political, business, and academic paper, and Unformal English such as colloquial and slang.

Personally, we should distinguish these two types of English because people learn English for different reasons. And for a great number of investigators, the reason is for writing research paper. For others, on the other hand, they aim speaking.

actually, the poster himself seems a little drifted away.
i'm so sorry to say this, but as a subject provider, he should be at least treating others with some respect, let's say, he has two misspelling in his title, one as the moderator suggests, the other is even more obvious, "fonal" ?
