新加坡淡马锡生命科学研究院招聘分子和数量遗传学人才 Four immediate vacancies for Assistant Research Officer (ARO), Research Officers (RO) and Postdoctoral Research Fellows (RF) are available in the Molecular Population Genetics Group, Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory, Singapore. Responsibilities of RF • Conducting linkage and QTL mapping • Analysis of quantitative genetic data • Statistical analysis of breeding values • Cloning and characterizing genes Responsibilities of RO/ARO • Identifying and genotyping microsatellites and SNPs • Linkage and QTL mapping • Cloning and characterizing genes Requirements of RF: • Ph. D in the field of Genetics/Quantitative Genetics • Strong skills in quantitative genetic and statistical analysis • Strong skills in analyzing large sequencing data • Highly-motivated person who is able to work independently • Lab experience in molecular biology is not essential, but could be an advantage Requirements of RO/ARO • MSc in the field of Molecular Genetics/Biology • Highly-motivated person who is able to work independently • Lab experience in molecular biology is essential Fresh graduates are welcome. The salary (20000-28000 USD/year for ARO/RO, and 30000-40000 USD/year for RF) given is commensurable to educational qualifications and working experience of the candidates.
