Postdoctoral Positions at the University of Liège, Belgium The University of Liege invites applications for twenty four postdoctoral fellowships for the academic year 2010-2011. The deadline for applications is May 15th, 2010. Each fellowship is for 12 months with a monthly salary in the range of 2.000 EURO (after social security contributions, no other taxes being due). The appointment must start between September 1st and December 31st, 2010. Applications for a second 12 months post-doc grant are allowed, but will go through the same selection procedure as first-grant application. Applicants must have a PhD degree obtained after September 1st, 2003 and before the beginning of the fellowship. Applicants must have had their previous affiliation outside of Belgium and not have been resident in Belgium for more than 24 months during the previous three years. Applications must include a CV and a two-page research project. The research project must integrate well with ongoing research in the foreseen hosting research unit at the University of Liège. Applications should be introduced via the prospective host; selection will be done by the University Research Council, based on scientific excellence.
