Topic: In some countries, most of people prefer to rent a house rather than buy one. What are the advantages and disadvantages of renting house? Nowadays, people patronize renting houses due to their low cost, especially youths in metropolises. It is the natural result of over-high price of flats which can bring intensive pressure to inhabitants. The issue of whether both citizens and government can enjoy the benefit of renting houses has been a matter of debate over decades. It is manifest that low expense should be the most essential reason for people to rent a house. Unlike millionaires or billionaires, to purchase an apartment, common people have to save for decades or even longer time. So the only choice for those who are eager to live in big cities, without abundant budget, is renting a house. What is more, with the rapid globalization, residents have more opportunities to go abroad for further study or working, which means renting apartments are more suitable for them, without being worried about their real property. On the other hand, house renting can also cool down the house market and enable governments to protect countries economy from market bubble. However, tenting flats may result in people¡¯s lack of sense of belonging. For instance, in China, owning an apartment has been a principal factor to distinguish indigenous people from citizens. Furthermore, in terms of city management, there are numerous obstacles for governments to regulate the security and development of chief towns, if almost all individuals are able to settle everywhere freely and easily by renting houses. To sum up, the benefits of renting apartments far outweigh its downsides for both inhabitants and governments because of the overpopulation and globalization. It is advisable to encourage residents to rent a house as long as the authorities carry out a series of systematic and reasonable regulations of renting flats and migration [ Last edited by yucheng9255 on 2010-4-6 at 21:03 ] |
