什么叫paper deposit?IEEE 主办的EMB会议投稿前要先交25美元？

32nd Annual International IEEE EMBS Conference 是IEEE主办的在阿根廷举办的国际会议，拟投稿，可是投稿系统中居然有如下说明 Paper Deposits Please note that you must pay a paper deposit fee of USD 25 per paper, before you can upload your paper. 每篇文章要交25美元的PaperDeposits才能上传，有哪位能指点一下，什么叫paper deposit，为啥要交25美元啊？跟老板说，老板也没听过paper deposit，让我好好看看。 谢谢！ |

会议有参会要求，当然实在不能去，到时应该可以联系一下组委会。 http://embc2010.embs.org/registration.html Author No Shows EMBS enforces a “no show” policy. Any accepted paper included in the final program is expected to have at least one author attend and present the paper at the conference. Authors of the accepted papers included in the final program who do not attend the Conference will be subscribed to a "No Show List", compiled by the Society. The "no-show" papers will be removed from the Master DVD and noted as “Author unavailable for presentation” prior to submitting to IEEE for inclusion in Xplore. The "No Show List" will also be made available to all EMBS conference organizers, who can reject submissions from these authors in the following two years, based on their past negative impact on an EMBS conference. |
