【求助】修饰电极的电催化定义问题

大家好，最近投稿的返回审稿意见，有一条：修饰电极催化物质A，过电位没有降低，只是氧化电流在增加，不能称作是电催化行为。 我急切想知道电催化的定义什么？那些特征表明了电催化的发生。谢谢了 如下：The current of an electrode reaction can be increased due to different factors, e.g., enlarged electrode surface area, increased mass transport, adsorptive accumulation etc., which does not necessarily mean that the standard rate constant is increased, i.e., the electrode reaction is catalyzed. The electrocatalysis is mainly recognized by decreasing of the absolute value of the overpotential required to drive the electrode reaction. [ Last edited by yuequeye on 2010-3-24 at 18:12 ] |
