Research Fellow (Postdoctoral) and Research Assistant (RA) Positions In Metabolomics : Singapore Employer: National University of Singapore Website: http://www.nus.edu.sg/ Location: Singapore Posted: March 16, 2010 Expires: When suitable candidates are found. Description: A Postdoctoral position (Research Fellow, RF) and a Research Assistant (RA) position are available at the National University of Singapore. These positions will focus on the application of LC/MS, GC/MS and NMR based metabolomics to environmental and public health research projects. The major focus areas of the laboratory include both infectious and chronic diseases diabetes, stroke, and cancer. In addition, several animal models such as zebrafish and mice have been used for investigations using metabolomics approach. Requirements: (1). For Research Fellow (RF, Postdoctoral) position: PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry, biochemistry, chemistry, bioinformatics or related disciplines. Publications in internationally-recognized journals will be an advantage. Experience with analytical instruments (LC/MS or/and GC/MS) and/or bioinformatics (multivariate statistics). (2). For Research Assistant (RA) position: Basic or Master degree in Analytical Chemistry, biochemistry, chemistry or related disciplines. Experience with analytical instruments (LC/MS or/and GC/MS) and multivariate statistics.
