Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary Second Edition Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary Second Edition offers new, up-to-date vocabulary, new 'mini-collocation' boxes, and new frequency information to highlight the most important words to learn. The new Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary gives you everything you need to learn English and pass exams. The CD-ROM gives lots of extra help with reading, writing, listening and speaking. Download : Thank you for your attention! The dictionary is protected (by Safedisc 2) and will not start if you make a CD from the .iso file in the normal way, SO: 1. First install Daemon Tools - it's free (and also trouble-free!): "DAEMON Tools is a virtual cd/dvd-rom emulator. It is able to emulate nearly all known copy protections on the market today". 2. Right click the "Virtual Daemon Manager" in your system tray (where your clock is!). 3. With your mouse point to "Virtual CD/DVD-ROM" and then to "Device 0 ... No Media" -- and then to "Mount Image". 4. In the "Select New Image File" choose the .iso file of the dictionary which is ON YOUR HARD DISK (e.g. Dictionary Of Contemporary English (4Th Edition).iso). 5. In Windows Explorer/My Computer (or: Windows Commander / Total Commander etc.) you'll find an extra (virtual) CD ROM drive with the Longman .iso file in it. Install the dictionary by clicking "setup.exe". 6. Once the dictionary is installed right click again on the "Virtual Daemon Manager" in your system tray and use your mouse to point to: "Emulation" and then to "Safedisk". This is the protection system used for this edition of the dictionary. Now go to START > PROGRAMS > LONGMAN etc. and use the dictionary! It'll work without a CD in your real CD ROM drive but if you want to, you can burn the .iso to a CD and use that -- as long as you leave the Daemon Safedisc Emulation on. If you don't want to keep the .iso image file on your hard disk then you can copy it to a CD and mount it from your real CD drive usind Daemon Tools! ------------------------ For those who want to try Alcohol 120% here is a tip: 1.) Open Image Burning Wizard 2.) Select "Longman.Dictionary.Of.Contemporary.English.(4Th.Edition).iso" then click NEXT 3.) Set Write Method to [RAW DAO] and set Datatype to [SafeDisc2] 4.) Burn it!
