Please incorporate your responses to previous comments into the body of the text. However please note the following:
1. The origin of the -CH3 and -CH2 is probably from residual butanol or ethanol which were not evacuated during drying at 45癈 (note the boiling points of butanol and ethanol are 118癈 and 78癈 respectively) Another possible source of these bands is the SDS incorporated in the TiO2 sol-gel

4. The authors may want to consider conducting additional leaching experiments by soaking for 24 h, a control and a representative treated sample in separate containers each filled with 100 mL DI water. The water should be exchanged every 24 h for 3 - 5 days. The leachate water should be analyzed for Ti, SDS, butanol and ethanol after each 24-h soak period.

I suggest that this manuscript be carefully reviewed for syntax and/or grammar by an English-speaking scientific writer before publication.
